Experimenting with Chocolate!!

Located at No.16, Wallace Garden, 2nd Street, Nungambakkam, Chennai; is the one and only place my friends and I agree upon to crave food. "Sandy's Chocolate Laboratory" is known for its amazing desserts and Italian dishes.

    The restaurant is open from 8am - 11pm and serves all meals. The restaurant serves cafe, continental, Italian and desserts. They offer home delivery and valet parking. The average cost for two people is 1400 rupees approximately.

The Tiny Chocolate Cake is the best thing I could ask for. Well trust me, that tiny chocolate cake Is'nt as tiny as you think! it was just so delicious *-*. Their Lasagna is too good, when you specify more veggies of your choice as part of stuffing. The burger and chili fries were pretty good too. Now for the best part, the Nutella Tiramisu, I don't have words to explain how much I liked it and then the millionaire's cheese, the cream and cake layers were so soft and just melted in my mouth with the caramelized layer! just loooooookkk!!!




 And they were'nt kidding about the "laboratory" part!! They serve some of their desserts in beaker like dishes. Take a look!

The ambience of the restaurant is well lit and they have an entirely different set up when compared to other restaurants.


Their welcome and service was warm, the food is slightly expensive but the quality is definitely good
So lets sum everything up, for the food I'd rate them a 5(not being generous) their food is just too goodd! for the ambience and service, I'd rate them a 4. So, overall I rate them a 4.2/5. Must try guys !!!

Greek week

Baklava is an ancient Greek delicacy, valued for it's rich culture and references in history. It is a soft, flaky pastry with pistachio paste and caramel. This recipe serves 18. Ingredients  250g butter, melted 500g chopped walnuts 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 packet filo pastry 200g caster sugar 250ml water 8 tablespoons honey 1 large piece of lemon peel Directions Preheat oven to 180 C. Butter the bottom and sides of a 23x33cm baking dish. Toss nuts with cinnamon. Set aside. Unroll filo pastry. Cut whole stack at once to fit the dimensions of the baking dish. Cover filo with a damp cloth to keep from drying out as you work. Place two sheets of filo in dish, buttering the top layer. Repeat until you have 8 sheets layered.
