Wanna know some good place to have your next meal at?

Are you a hardcore meat lover or are you badly craving for some western food? Then maybe this review will provide a solution for your cravings!!! Since we are doing reviews on restaurants that provide western cuisine this week, I thought why not do a review on a place I frequent and this restaurant immediately popped up in my mind. Let me give you a hint it's located in Anna Nagar!

I think most of you would have guessed it by now, that's right today I will be doing a review of the 

“The Brick House Bistro.” It is located in Q-88, Q-Block, 3rd Main Road, Anna Nagar East, Chennai 40. Their opening hours are from 12 pm to 1 noon and from 4 pm to 7 pm is their “Happy hour”.  And it cost about 900 rupees for 2 people on average.In this review, we will be looking at a few things like the quality of the food, the service aspect and lastly the ambiance of the place.

So before we dig deeper regarding the quality of the food, let's take a look at their menu.

So from the menu, we can see that they cater to both the vegetarians and non-vegetarians eaters. And have a wide array of food such as the different types of starters that includes hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, milkshakes and even Italian food. As a frequent visitor, my favorites are their cheesy gooey fries and their chicken burger ver 2.0.The cheesy gooey fries is a mouthwatering dish especially for a cheese lover like me. And trust me, people were not kidding when they said they are well known for their burgers. It was so juicy and savory that makes me want to go back for more, which is very bad for my wallet but still it's just too delicious.  

I bet you are dying to look at their food right now especially after my description, so let's take a look at some of their food to satisfy your eyes.

But I think it's not fair to judge them solely just based on my reviews , so I will be compiling reviews from others too so that you can get a border view on the quality.

“The chicken burger tasted so good and juicy, quantity is awesome. Probably one of the best patty I've ever had. The fries were very well done with jalapeno sauce which imparts tangy twist to it. Again the quantity was stunning though fries were all gooey.”

“It is a heaven for burger lovers. Unlike most of the burger places where the main taste comes from the added sauces and you hardly get to taste the meat, at the brick house the patty was thick and meaty with mild pepper flavoring. It just tasted wow.We also ordered the Thai chicken wings which were juicy but too sweet for my liking.”

“The king of burgers. Being the only person to eat I ordered The chicken burger Ver 2.0 . I received the burger in like 10 mins and the burger came with a dip and french fries. What else would I want? perfect combo. The burger was so juicy and spft, it completed melted in my mouth. So yum. So tasty. will be going there again. Reasonable and tastlicious. “

When I searched for their reviews, most of them were full praises although there were some complaints and comments for them to improve more. For example, a few said that the fries were a little dry but still ended up ordering it again because of the sauce. Some also mentioned that the sauce of a few dishes was a little too sweet for their liking. But in conclusion, I would rate the quality of the food 4/5 as they were mostly satisfactory during my visits.

So next up let's look at the service aspect. As far as I am concerned I was very happy with their service because when I first went when I was new to the menu but the waiter was adequately comfortable with the menu and helped me clear my doubts regarding some of the dishes promptly. As for the other times, they were readily at my service so I don’t have any major complains about that. As for the price aspect, I find it a bit pricey especially since I am still a student but then again the money is worth the food if not I will not even bother going there again. So for the service aspect, I would rate them 3.5/5.

Okay now onto the last aspect of this review which is regarding the ambiance. The place is actually a bit small with simple yet sufficient decoration. I mean honestly it's decent enough but then again I am so busy gazing at my food that I barely look around.  For those of you who have never been there here are some pictures to give you an idea of how it looks like. I  would them a 3 out 5 for the ambiance. This is the only area I wish they would improve on :)

In conclusion, I would give them ⅘ overall. And I would honestly recommend to try it out at least once because probably after that you guys would be going back for their food even without me asking you all to try it out. I hope you guys will have a pleasant time just like me if you are considering to visit the eatery.
