Work the Quirk

Amused by the funky ambiance pictures on social media, I decided to check this place with my friends. I wasn't disappointed tad bit.They give you the luxury of both Indoor and outdoor seating ! The indoor seating is all classy and posh, whereas the outdoor seating it colorful eye-catching and funky. I loved them both.






We ordered Tex Mex wedges for starters, broader crisp wedges topped with cheese came along side ketchup, was good and sublte way to start our feast !
Then came the roasted chicken pita sandwich, small chicken chunks were soft and juicy, the mayo was on point the pita bread were soft and good, with an eye blink all we had was an empty plate. How good? sooo good.
 


Magizhchi was the burger of the day, it's vegetarian burger, came with potato patty, which was huge. it also had fresh tomatoes and lettuce. the quantity can fit for 2 ! 

We ordered 2 drinks, Brownie and butterscotch shake - now this combo startled me and kept me curious because I love them both separately but didn't think this as an combo. this was an amazing drink. loved it to bits, right amount of thickness sweetness and just the right temperature.


For desserts we ordered Chocolate chip waffles and chocolate sauce crepe. both came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a cup of maple syrup and a cup of chocolate sauce. AWESOME

Although the food is amazing, the service is really slow.
Bottom line - Quirk food, quirkier ambiance

Greek week

Baklava is an ancient Greek delicacy, valued for it's rich culture and references in history. It is a soft, flaky pastry with pistachio paste and caramel. This recipe serves 18. Ingredients  250g butter, melted 500g chopped walnuts 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 packet filo pastry 200g caster sugar 250ml water 8 tablespoons honey 1 large piece of lemon peel Directions Preheat oven to 180 C. Butter the bottom and sides of a 23x33cm baking dish. Toss nuts with cinnamon. Set aside. Unroll filo pastry. Cut whole stack at once to fit the dimensions of the baking dish. Cover filo with a damp cloth to keep from drying out as you work. Place two sheets of filo in dish, buttering the top layer. Repeat until you have 8 sheets layered.
