TOP SECRET RECIPE?

Is this an article on recipes or food media ? BOTH!! Ever kept switching channels on TV and came across this food reality show, "Top Secret Recipes". Its very different compared to any other food reality show. It's not challenge related or anything.



   
  Top Secret Recipes was aired on History Channel couple of years ago! The show was hosted by Todd Wilbur. He pays a visit to the corporate headquarters of a restaurant to meet with the CEO and challenge him to unraveling the secret recipe. Todd uses several strategies to crack the recipe, from trial and error with every spice to visiting retail stores and pretending as though he has food allergies. He experiments in his refurbished Taco Truck, he also tries some scientific techniques to build the dish part by part.


  Todd is given a day to crack the recipe. Towards the end of the show, some of the biggest fans and experts of a particular dish sit down to feast. They have no idea which is the actual dish and the fake one. They are put under a blind tasting. If Todd gets the most votes, he gets rewarded with a lifetime opportunity to walk into that particular restaurant whenever he feels like to eat for free!

   Isn't that amazing? This guy knows the recipe to KFC's Cajun Honey Wings and PF Changs lettuce wraps!!! I wish they put a repeat or something!

Man v. Food  is an American  food reality television series . It premiered on December 3, 2008 on the  Travel Channel . The program was originally hosted by actor and food enthusiast  Adam Richman . In  each episode, Richman explores the "big food" offerings of a different American city before facing off against a pre-existing eating challenge at a local restaurant. The program airs in syndication at various times during the week.
