I love this cafe. The ambience is laid-back but not wishy-washy. In fact, the food and decor are distinctive. I loved the wall covered with old black and white formal pictures and family portraits. The wait staff are comfortable with their jobs, communicate clearly, are efficient, and despite being busy will crack a smile (even at my bad jokes). By Indian standards, this place is upmarket, but it is not snooty.

The menu is unapologetically Western, which is good. Too often, restaurants of this type try to have a vast fusion menu that ends up doing no favours to either cuisine. Rather, I appreciate the cafe's focus on baked goods (delicious cakes, desserts, and breads) and good quality meat.Although the food is western, it is by no means bland.

I thoroughly enjoyed every meal I had there- seafood paella, two fish dishes, omelettes, fresh fruit juices, Thai curry and rice, chilli cheese toast, veggie burger, pizza, and pasta with red sauce. I also tried the cheesecake and the carrot cake. Unlike those of most commercial bakeries, the cakes on offer here taste home-made.

At this point, I must clarify that I did not eat all of the above-mentioned food in one sitting (though I probably could).Quality of food and service was consistent throughout.
