I honestly found this place by pure luck!! So basically as part of a class trip, we went to the “ Weavers Service Centre” at Besant Nagar and after the trip, me and my friends were really hungry so walked around the place to find some good food!! And BAM that's when we found this gem of a place called “Chai Galli” located at 15/4, 4th Main Road,1st Floor, Elliot's Promenade, Besant Nagar, Chennai. At first, i didn't really want to go there for lunch because it was a pure vegetarian restaurant but I was craving for some meat (chicken). But nevertheless, we decided to eat there! Amused by the funky ambiance pictures on social media, I decided to check this place with my friends. I wasn't disappointed tad bit. They give you the luxury of both Indoor and outdoor seating ! The indoor seating is all classy and posh, whereas the outdoor seating it colorful eye-catching and funky. I loved them both. I'm not a major fan of pizzas but after seeing on the house pizza being cooked at tuscana and have it live my views changed. Have been to tuscana many times over the last few years. Not just the pizzas but even the pastas and the Mexican dishes are awesome. They also have many healthy food options. They have 4 types of pizza base options of which 3 are healthy options and they taste also good. The have the normal thin pizza base , then the whole wheat one , multiple grain one and the real suprise on is the millet based gluten free base. The Millet based gluten free one is made from bajra and Jowar. I really loved it. It was a big hard as you'll expect but the crispiness helped us enjoy the pizza. This is the only Italian joint which has so many healthy pizza base options. Both the creamy pastas as well as the tomato based ones are good depending on your taste. Okay, so here’s how it started!! Last week I had to get some work done at T.Nagar. Once I got done with my work, I was really starving. So I wanted something to satisfy my hunger although I definitely wanted to try something new.    It was an unexpected visit to……. Guessss! Yup “basil with a twist”, a European themed restaurant. It is located at 58-A, Habibullah road, T Nagar, Chennai.   The restaurant serves continental, café, Italian, European, Mediterranean, steak, pizza, and desserts. What more can you ask for? I visited Bugerman that is located in Besant Nagar. and let me tell you, from the moment I stepped in I was super excited! the interiors were top notch, the staff was super friendly and the food was goooooooood. I tried the veggie nachos and the Mexican chicken burger. The nachos were good and loaded with mayo. The Burger surprisingly came with nachos inside it (YASSSS). If you ever decide to go there definitely try the choco brownie drink or the Irish coffee, you will not regret it! Overall, would rate this place a 4.5. It's budget friendly and totally worth it.
